It's the standard tool for it. Mulching knocks brush-invaded pasture back to grass without stripping the topsoil you're trying to save, and the mulch layer feeds back into the ground. The part that makes it pay off: follow-up. Resprouting species need a maintenance pass or treatment, or the pasture walks right back to brush.
